Our Story

According to online dictionary, a maven (also mavin) is a trusted expert in a particular field, who seeks to pass knowledge on to others. The word maven comes from Hebrew, via Yiddish and means one who understands, based on an accumulation of knowledge.

Malcom Gladwell  used the term in his book The Tipping Point  (Little Brown, 2000) to describe those who are intense gatherers of information and impressions, and so are usually the first to identify and pick up on new or nascent trends.

New Market Mavens, LLC was established to fill the void of "Marketing as a Service". Many organizations seek specialized marketing talent and support without investing or maintaining a large internal marketing bench.

While serving in senior marketing executive roles at Benefitfocus, Axway, Software AG, Microsoft, BearningPoint, Ariba, Baan Automotive and KPMG, Jeffrey leveraged his proven marketing strategy frameworks and delivered new sales pipeline in these organizations totaling close to a $1 billion, exceeding forecasts and growing the bottom line.

Combining demonstrated experience in the areas of global marketing strategy, brand development, digital marketing, social media, business development, demand generation strategies, channel and alliance partner management, and sales enablement, he operates with a solid knowledgeable foundation to assist and coach your organization in exceeding its marketing and business development goals.
